We’re an organisation that delivers over 5000 training days to our people each year. Much of this is delivered by our dedicated Learning and Development team at one of our purpose built training centres in either Tamworth or at our Colindale development. As the only major house builder to have its internal training both BiLD and CPD accredited, we help individuals not only excel in their role but work towards achieving professional recognition.
We were awarded with the BiLD ‘quality mark’ in November 2016, the first housebuilder to achieve this status (read full story here).
On joining Redrow all new starters are guided through an induction plan, welcoming you to the business and providing you with the best possible start to your career with us. Your induction will be a combination of formal training courses exploring our history, culture and award winning product range, through to on the job training and coaching on our bespoke systems and processes.
The induction is just the start of the development you will receive. Whether you’re looking to develop your technical skills or advance your career we have a wide range of development options to help you achieve your goals. Through our learning & development team you will have the opportunity to attend a number of our accredited training courses or work towards recognized qualifications, helping you maximize your potential.
To help individuals own and drive their development everyone has access to evolve, our online learning system. Providing instant access to a wide range of online courses, books and videos individuals can access training where ever and whenever they want. Last year alone over 3,000 online courses were completed and this number continues to increase as we provide more resources to the business.
We believe in developing talent, with our award winning apprentice and graduate schemes through to succession planning to identify future leaders at all levels of the business. Individuals are given the skills and opportunity to realise their potential and fulfill their aspirations. Our Sales people are fundamental to the success of Redrow and the 5 star service we deliver to our customers. Our sales training focuses on supporting our customers to buy through really understanding the individual needs of each purchaser.
In order for you to promote our award winning products and be part of our success, our Sales Induction Programme has been designed to give you all the knowledge and skills you will need to manage your customers journey. Understanding the psychology behind a home buying purchase, through to explaining working plans and drawings and demonstrating your knowledge in our show homes, our Sales development programme will equip you for a successful start to your Redrow career.
To deliver our award winning product we need highly skilled and talented individuals. Our two week induction programme provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to deliver the high standards of Redrow. Individuals will be taken through our bespoke systems and processes, site requirements, high safety standards through to their role in Redrow continuing to be a 5 star home builder. Supported by internal business experts and accredited training individuals will receive the training to help them deliver award winning sites.
Trainee Site Assistant Programme
This programme is aimed at developing promising people within our business. They’re generally chosen from our site-based teams; it could be that they’re working as a forklift truck driver, labourer or an apprentice, for example; or may be recruited directly onto the programme. If you join us in any of those roles, this programme could be your next big step. It will give you the knowledge, understanding and experience you need to become an Assistant Site Manager.

Our Leadership Development Programme aims to equip future leader’s right through to Directors with the skills, knowledge and experience to progress their career. The highly interactive programmes focus on the practical skills to challenge individuals approach to leadership.
