Construction is at the heart of what we do. It’s where we turn the visions of our designers into a reality – creating beautiful homes for our customers.
This programme is an intensive two-year introduction to Redrow’s building process, designed to give talented graduates the skills and understanding to manage the construction of our award-winning homes. Based on site, you’ll gain hands-on experience of the entire build process from start to finish.
What to expect:
Working in partnership with our trusted subcontractors, you’ll oversee work including bricklaying, joinery and plumbing. You’ll be trained to direct the construction process, and how to ensure our tradesmen maintain the best quality and the highest levels of health and safety.
You’ll be working with experienced construction professionals and learning from some of our most trusted site managers. Not only that; you’ll also have the Construction Director as your mentor, ensuring you get the very best start at Redrow. There’ll be plenty of opportunity for formal training too, with courses readily available. And we’ll also support you while you work towards your Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) membership.
To join our industry-leading programme, you’ll need a 2:1 in any construction-related degree (for example, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management or Project Management).”
This 24 month programme will see you gaining exposure to virtually every aspect of Redrow. You’ll complete placements in Land, Technical, Construction, Sales, Commercial and Customer Service, with the chance to specialise in two areas in your last year. All the while, you’ll be mentored by one of our Managing Directors. You’ll be given projects by your MD, you’ll present to senior executives, and have opportunities to join forces with other graduates on challenges and community initiatives, it’s a packed programme.
You’ll also spend some time with our other key head office functions including marketing, HR, IT, Finance and Legal to further increase your business awareness.
What’s more as you develop a clearer idea about where your interests lie, you’ll have the opportunity in the final year to pursue two placements in areas of your choosing.
